Overview
TM Bitutight is a cold-applied bitumen emulsion — no heating or torching on site — that goes on as a thick, thixotropic black coating and dries into a strongly adhered moisture and vapour barrier.
It's specified across cement and metal surfaces alike, and is a common choice for basements and sandwich-layer waterproofing, where a bitumen barrier sits between structural layers rather than being left exposed.
Its crack-bridging, cold-applied nature makes it a straightforward retrofit option on existing structures, without the site safety and equipment overhead that hot-applied bituminous systems bring.
